Day 3.
Be transferred to Bahirdar airport to fly to Gondar. After being transferred from Gondar airport to your hotel, start your tour of Gondar. In this tour you will see the royal enclosure-the palace that was built by emperor Fasiledes in 1636 that is similar with that of European castles. The Portuguese soldiers that numbered 400 led by Don Christopher Da Gama, who came in 1541 to assist the Christians in the war against the Muslims influenced Ethiopian architecture of the medieval period. You can also see the bath palace of Fasiledes, the Quesquam enclosure, and the decorated church of Trinity. Over night in a hotel (possibly Goha) in Gondar.

Day 4.
Be transferred to Gondar airport to fly to Lalibela. After being transferred to your hotel from the airport, start your day visit of Lalibela. Lalibela is the site of eleven remarkable rock hewn monolithic churches, believed to have built by king Lalibela, in the late 12th or 13th C. These notable structures are carved, inside and outside of the solid rock, and are considered among the wonders of the world. Over night in a hotel (Roha hotel) in Lalibela.

Day 5.
Be transferred to Lalibela airport to fly to Axum. After being transferred to your hotel (Yeha) from Axum airport, start sightseeing tour of Axum. Axum is believed to have been the first Ethiopian capital from the 1st to the 10th century A.D. Christianity was introduced here during the 4th century A.D. The park of the stele, carved out of one single granite stone of the pre Christianity Era, the palace and tombs of two of the Axumite Emperors (Kaleb and GebreMeskel), and the old and new St. Mary churches of Axum. Visit the palace remnants of the Queen Sheba palace, King Ezana's inscription. Over night in a hotel in Axum.

Day 6.

Be transfered to Axum airport to fly back to Addis Ababa and be transferred to your hotel. Visit the culture and customs of many Omo peoples: growing their food, marrying, dancing, raising their children, building their homes, and living their lives as their ancestors did. Lip discs, body piercings, scarrings, jewelry and animal skins adorn the many Omo tribes, each with their own unique language and culture. Hairstyles are particularly individual and important. Miles of hiking trails will allow the traveler unlimited access to wildlife and endemic birds. Don't forget to bring plenty of film and your binoculars. Comfortable shoes, conservative walking shorts and malaria pills are a must in the Rift Valley. Elevation is much lower in this part of the country than in the capital of Addis Ababa. Addis Ababa is the first encounter with Ethiopia for those who arrive by air and holds an unending fascination for the traveler because it is a city of contrasts where barefooted farmers drive their grass ladened donkeys past modern skyscrapers.
