Memphis was the ancient Egyptian city that served not just as an important city but also as the capital of ancient Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was the home of many pharaohs, including King Tutankhamun, and it remained an essential city throughout history, until its demise around the time of the rise of Christianity after the first century A.D., and then proceed to visit Sakkara Which is a vast, ancient burial ground in Egypt, serving as the necropolis for the Ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis, there you visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser considered the oldest in Egypt. Upon arrival, meet and assist and transfer to visit The High Dam, the world’s largest dam which was constructed in 1970, this dam borders Egypt and Sudan, then head to visit the largest known Egyptian obelisk is called the “unfinished obelisk”, which today can be found exactly where it was once semi-carved from the solid bedrock. This stone block was intended to be a 120ft / 36m tall obelisk. It is estimated that a block of granite this size would easily weigh more than a 1000 tons, some geologists have suggested a figure in the region of 1100 tons – 1150 tons.
Unfortunately this obelisk was never finished because during the process to remove the block of stone from its mother bedrock, a huge crack appeared that made the stone unusable. Then continue to visit one of Nubia’s most important monument sites, the Temples of Philae, 12 kilometers south of Aswan, was an ancient pilgrimage center for the cult of Isis and dazzled travelers with its power for centuries. This sacred site was venerated from the Pharaonic era up to the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine periods with each ruler adding their own stamp onto the stones here. Saved from a watery grave by UNESCO’s rescue project, which transferred the monuments block by block from Philae Island to Agilika Island, today, the temples continue to work their charm on all who visit.

Located in the hills behind Dayr al-Baḥrī, the 62 known tombs exhibit variety both in plan and in decoration. In 1979 UNESCO designated the valley part of the World Heritage Site of ancient Thebes, which also includes Luxor, the valley of the Queens and Karnak. After that visit Hatchepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahari where the eyes first focus on the dramatic rugged limestone cliffs that rise nearly 300 m above the desert plain, only to realize that at the foot of all this immense beauty lies a monument even more extraordinary.
