Belukha is fantastic, charming and involves a storm of emotions in everyone's heart. Mountain Belukha, the highest peak in Siberia, flies up with two summits: Western Belukha (4440 meters) and Eastern Belukha (4506 meters). The mountain got this name because of the abundance of the white sparkling snow cover which gives the start to the Katun river. From the ancient times Belukha mountain was considered sacred.

Here Altai shamans communicate with the spirits and there is a secret entrance to the legendary country of Shambhala which is not possible to see without spiritual vision. Even nowadays many people believe that Belukha Mountain is a place energetically connected with the space which has a harmonizing effect on people. This mysterious and inaccessible mountain always attracted romantic hikers and climbers. Nowadays everyone can climb the mountain without special equipment, prepairing the expidition or searching for a guide or horses. Everything you need is free two weeks, good physical training and the absence of contraindications to physical activity. It is better to begin a career as a mountaineer with easier climbing and have some prior experience because the climb to the top of Belukha mountain is rated as a 3A (In Russian climbing route rating system the overall grade of a route is defined within a scale of 1 to 6, with subdivisions A and B). However, the program includes one day of training with instructors of mountaineering techniques on snow and ice slopes. During the route participants have to overcome up to 1000 m high a day and carry a backpack with all their personal belongings, communal equipment (tents, ropes, helmets, etc.) and food evenly divided between them. Children aged under 16 are not allowed to participate in this climbing, children aged 16-18 years old must be accompanied by adults. Due to significant changes in temperature in the mountains participants have to take warm clothes, boots for climbing, crampons, thermal underwear, sit mat, backpack, thermos, sunglasses and light clothing. Touroperator provides participants with professional mountain guide services, cook, equipment, accommodation in "Ak-Kem" base camp, insurance for the active part of the route, horses for transportation where it is possible.

Climbing Belukha is beautiful and interesting route which gives you unforgettable memories, climbing experience, opportunity to make great pictures and have a real adventure on one of the most mysterious peaks of the world.
