Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi. Arrive at Nairobi International Airport where you are met and transferred to your hotel for overnight. The Jacaranda Hotel or equivalent on breakfast and bed basis.

Day 2: Aberdare. Leave Nairobi in the morning passing through the town of Nyeri. Lord Baden Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts movement, spent the last years of his life and is buried here. After lunch at the Aberdare Country Club, drive through the forest to view various species of game. These can be seen along the way to your tree hotel. Your accommodation balcony which overlooks a floodlit waterhole gives you the opportunity to watch game in the night. And of course dinner at The Mountain Lodge a full board basis hotel.

Day 3: Samburu. Take breakfast and drive north to Samburu Game Reserve. Have lunch and take an afternoon game drive to this beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Grevy's zebra, Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe and blue-necked Somali ostrich. Overnight at the Sarova Shaba Lodge a full board basis hotel.

Day 4: Samburu. This day will be spent exploring the reserve and its varied species of game. Overnight at the Sarova Shaba Lodge Of course on full board.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru. Depart after breakfast and drive past the northern tip of the Aberdare Mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley for Lake Nakuru. Visit the world's famous bird sanctuary of Lake Nakuru National Park. Back to Sarova Lion Hill Lodge for full board and over night.

Days 6-7: Masai Mara Game Reserve. Crossing the Great Rift Valley, arrive at Kenya's prestigious Game Reserve, Masai Mara. After lunch, Spend the days exploring the plains and rolling hills for a chance to spot black-maned lion, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, and leopard with varied species of hoofed animals. Back for overnight at the Sarova Mara Lodge. This is a full board basis hotel.

Day 8: Nairobi. Have breakfast and connect back to Nairobi for lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant to witness all the kinds of game meat served. In the event of a late evening flight, an optional day room can be reserved for you to relax and freshen up before you transfer to the airport. This is only on break fat and lunch basis. Transfer to the airport afterwards to catch your outbound flight.
