Day 1: Depart Christchurch after group introductions and trip briefing. Head for the Rakaia Gorge and onto Lake Coleridge for a Jet Boat and High Country Hike. New Zealand Adventure Trips Night 1 in s/c Unit/Apartment Methven. Adventure Sports Trips Lunch and dinner.
Day 2: Tour down through the Canterbury plains and to Peel Forest for a half day the South Island's only Grade 5 White Water Rafting adventure trip. Day 3: Drive to Stunning Lake Pukaki and into the heart of New Zealand's Southern Lakes themselves. After a stop in Wanaka we cross the fords to Mount Aspiring National Park and into the wilderness of the Matukituki Valley. From here we undertake a half day Return Hike to the Rob Roy Glacier. Days 6-7: Two full days to engage Queenstown the New Zealand adventure capital of the world and a real highlight of our trip. Your guide can also arrange and recommend other optional adrenalin activities such as Canyoning, Hang gliding or River Surfing to fill your spare hours. Fitness Requirements: A good standard of fitness is required to fully participate and enjoy this NZ Adrenalin tour. The full day rock climbing and overnight sea kayaking are the most strenuous parts of this particular adventure tour. Other activities such as rafting and mountain biking are also demanding.
