Day 1: Delhi. Fly from your country to Delhi, the political and cultural capital of India. Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Our airport representative or your tour leader will be waiting for you in the arrival hall located after passing out of the customs area and beyond the airport travel desks and exchange counters. Look out for the Peregrine signboard. The drive from the airport to the hotel is around 45 minutes. Most flights arrive in Delhi in the late evening so the rest of the day is at leisure. If you have arrived early your tour leader will brief you with sightseeing options. Includes: (D).
Day 2: Old & New Delhi. After breakfast in the morning at the hotel leave for full day sightseeing of Old and New Delhi. Drive into the heart of India’s Capital to explore Old Delhi visiting the famous Jamia Mazjid, walk through the Chandini Chowk and India’s oldest and busiest market, Sish Ganj gurudwara, Enjoy rickshaw ride in narrow alleys of old Delhi through Kinari Bazaar and the 400 years old Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, stop for photos at the colorful market before finishing the Victorian Cannaught Place – One of the most prominent architectural remnants of British Rule. Later visit Birla Temple, Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple, Humanyu Tomb, Presidential House, India Gate, Government buildings & Qutab Minar and other countless monuments. In the evening you will have time for shopping activities. Return to the Hotel for overnight stay. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 3: Delhi – Chandigarh (250 Kms – 05 hrs). After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive to Chandigarh. Arrive and check into the hotel. Later in the day after change, wash and some rest go for sightseeing of one of the most beautifully planned cities of India. Visit the Rose Garden and the Rock Garden. Also visit the Capitol Complex and enjoy a Boat Ride along the Sukhna Lake. Other attractions to be visited include the Leisure Valley, Government Museum, Art Gallery and International Dolls Museum. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 4: Chandigarh - Amritsar (340 Kms – 6.5 hrs). After early morning breakfast the hotel check out and drive to Amritsar. Arrive and check into the hotel. Later in the day after change, wash and some rest first go to visit the Wagah border sharing the boundaries of India and Pakistan. Watch beautiful parade of military officers paying tribute to the Jawans died on warfronts and shaking hands with the counterparts. Later come back and visit the famous Golden Temple which is also known as the Harmander Sahib. Watch the devotees take a dip in the holy lake at the temple. Later, get to see the Jallianwala Bagh that is a grim reminder of the great massacre of 1919 when the British Army fired randomly on a peaceful assembly of people who had gathered in demand of freedom. Return to the hotel late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 5: Amritsar - Dharamshala (200 Kms – 05 hrs). After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive to Dharamshala. Dharamshala was originally inhabited by semi-Nomadic Gaddi tribe. It is the principle township of Kangra Region and is one of the most fascinating places. Spread of a height difference of over 450 mtrs it is one of the most important places of Buddhist Pilgrimage with the principle leader Dalai Lama living here. Arrive and check into the hotel. Rest of the day is to enjoy the pristine beauty of Dharamshala. Evening is for leisure activities. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 6: Dharamshala. After breakfast in the morning at the hotel go for a full day sightseeing of Dharamshala. Visit McLeodgunj, the residence of H.H. Dalai Lama. Feast your eyes upon the scenic splendors of the place. Get to the Namgayal Monastery and the Bhagsunath Temple. Situated in the wilderness is the Church of St John that reminds us of the British Raj. Also visit the Tibetan Children Village Institute. The library at the school is treasure trove of manuscripts and texts on Tibet and its Culture. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 7: Dharamshala – Manali (250 Kms 07 hrs). After early morning breakfast the hotel check out and drive to Manali. Situated at the northern end of Kullu valley, Manali has spectacular views of snow capped peaks and wooded slopes. Manali offers marvelous walks through dappled orchards and fairy tale forests of Deodar. Arrive and check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure activities. In the evening visit the Mall Road. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 8: Manali. After breakfast in the morning at the hotel go for a full day sightseeing of Manali. You will visit the Hidimbha Temple, standing tall among the stately Deodars. This ancient temple with its three level roofs looks like a pagoda and its lintel and door frame are of intricately carved wood. The market is crowded with interesting shops selling Tibetan carpets and crafts. The village of Manali is 2 kms away across scented meadows and a quaint bridge over the sparking stream. Also visit the Vashisht hot springs and the Naggar Castle. Take a stroll through the Manali market. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 9: Manali – Rohtang – Lahaul – Jispa – Sarchu (220 Kms – 07 hrs). After early morning breakfast at the hotel check out and drive to Sarchu passing through the Rohtang Pass (13050 ft), Lahaul Valley, Tandi, Keylong, Jispa, Lunch Break at Darcha. After Lunch drive to Sarchu through Baralacha Pass (16020 ft). Arrive Sarchu by evening to check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay is at the hotel in Sarchu. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 10: Sarchu – Pang – Leh (250 Kms – 08 hrs). After early morning breakfast at the hotel check out and drive to Leh passing through the Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Arrive Pang by afternoon for lunch. After the Lunch drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft and Indus Valley. Arrive Leh by evening to check into the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at is the Hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 11: Leh – Pangong Lake (160 Kms – 5 hrs). After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third Highest Motorable road in the world.) Arrive at the camp to spend rest of the time at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay is at the camp. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 12: Pangong Lake – Hemis – Thikse – Shey – Leh (160 Kms – 6 hrs). After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive back to Leh. Enroute visit Hemis, Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace. Arrive at the hotel in Leh to spend time for leisure activities. Dinner and Overnight stay is at the Hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 13: Leh – Nubra Valley (120 Kms – 5 hrs). After breakfast at the hotel in the morning check out and drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Deskit by afternoon and check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and Camel Safari in Sand Dunes between the Deskit village & Hunder Village. Return to the hotel for overnight Hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 14: Nubra Valley – Leh (120 Kms – 5 hrs). In the morning after breakfast at the hotel visit the Deskit Monastery. Later return back to the hotel to check out and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Arrive at the hotel for check int. Evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay is at the hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 15: Leh – Delhi (Flight) – Departure. After breakfast the hotel in the morning check out and transfer to the airport to board flight back to Delhi from where your magnificent journey to India started. Arrive Delhi early in the evening. Depending upon your further Tour program you have time to explore the city. Transfer to the international airport to take your connecting flight to your final destination or continue for you’re onwards destination. Fly back to your country with the everlasting memories of the magnificent glimpses of Incredible India and Ladakh. Includes: (B), (D).
