Your instructor is Marta Oló, a retired Arts & History professional who is now pursuing a full-time career in her favorite - and lifelong - pastime, cooking.
With Marta’s help, you’ll be preparing a complete regional menu. You can bring a long tradition of refined cuisine back home with you, with dishes that vary from the fish of the coast, in recipes like suquet, to typical inland roasts, meaty broths like escudella, or hearty stews like carn d'olla, all side by side with some of Spain’s finest wines and olive oils.
No hurries here; relax and enjoy the cooking, take your time, ask questions… and best of all, when you’re done you can sit down and enjoy what you’ve prepared as lunch (accompanied by fine Spanish wines, of course!).

Your class is individual, and specially designed, just for you. You’ll begin with a visit to the food market at the charming medieval town of Palafrugell. The market is a picturesque site in the heart of town, where you can start to take in the colors and aromas of local produce.
After the visit, move on to your class, which will be held in a beautifully renovated private home with a fully equipped modern kitchen, just minutes away from the market.
